Scholarship Criteria:
The Ulrike Katharina “Bieni” Kohler-Johnson ’83
Scholarship is intended to help deserving female HPA students follow their
dreams. It is awarded annually to students who are not only gifted in athletics,
academics or the arts, but who understand their responsibility to work hard to
develop and share those gifts. In the spirit of its namesake, the
Scholarship is awarded to young women who are an inspiration to others,
who demonstrates a shining sincerity of commitment, and an unhesitant willingness
to go the “extra mile” for friends, family or a worthy cause.
2011 Scholarship Awardees:
Due to the overwhelming donations we received, we were very pleased to be able to award each of these three young women with a $1000 scholarship: in the class of class of 2011: Jasmin Fojas, class of 2010: Kristiana Van Pernis, and in the class of 2012: Katherine Case. Congratulations to each of these exemplary students on their achievements!
